Overview
Feeds are managed centrally in master data — with certification, GMO status, and supplier details. When recording a purchase, you simply select from this list without re-entering the feed every time.

Quick access
- Feed list — all active entries, optionally including archived ones
- + New Feed — name, category, certification, GMO status, default supplier
- Archive instead of delete — preserves the audit trail for old purchases and plans
- Inline creation from the purchase journal — direct plus button in the purchase form

For each status, Herdy recognises the correct audit requirements in the downstream modules (purchase journal, ration plans, audit export).
Tip: If you are an organic farm, it is worth recording all feeds in use with their specific certification status — this gives the inspector a complete, traceable record.
