Herdy is available. Register your farm via our contact form — as one of the first farms you benefit from discounted founding rates and actively help shape Herdy.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. Herdy is as simple as a smartphone app. If you can use agate.ch, you can use Herdy. If you need help, we are reachable by email.
Does Herdy work on my phone in the barn?
Yes. Herdy is optimized for mobile devices and works in any browser - on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You just need an internet connection.
Is my data stored in Switzerland?
Yes. All data is hosted on servers in Switzerland and is subject to Swiss data protection law.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. The CSV import function lets you import your animal list from Excel or other programs. We are happy to assist if needed.
Does Herdy replace notifications on agate.ch?
Herdy significantly simplifies your TVD notifications. Notifications are prepared through Herdy and submitted to the TVD, so you no longer need to work directly on agate.ch.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. You can download a complete export of your data at any time before closing your account.
Is Herdy suitable for sheep, goats, and cattle?
Yes. Herdy supports sheep, goats, and cattle on the same farm — with breed-specific weight benchmarks, adapted breeding features, and TVD notifications for all three species. Modules that apply to only one species are shown or hidden automatically.
How is Herdy different from a cattle-only app?
Many Swiss farms keep multiple species — suckler cows alongside sheep, or goats alongside young cattle. Herdy is the only app that manages every animal on your farm under one roof: one TVD login, one treatment journal, one set of reports. Instead of running three programs, you run one.
