Pig Support Added

Herdy now manages pigs as well -- the fourth species. Pig farms handle their entire stock in the same unified interface as for sheep, goats, and cattle.

• Full herd management -- individual records, breeding, weights, treatments, health journal, groups, dashboards, and reports, all as usual.
• Swiss pig breeds -- Schweizer Edelschwein, Schweizer Landrasse, Duroc, Piétrain, PRIMERA, PREMO, Woolly pig (Mangalitza), and crossbreed.
• No double work -- mixed farms see all species side by side, and the sidebar adapts automatically.

TVD for Pigs Works Differently -- and That Is by Design

In Switzerland, pigs have no individual TVD identity. They are not registered per animal but counted as a group. Herdy mirrors this exactly the way the Swiss system intends:

• Arrivals as a group notification -- instead of one notification per animal, you report the number of animals and the source holding to the TVD.
• A dedicated pig arrival page -- its own reporting path, tailored to the count-based logic for pigs and kept separate from the per-animal logic used for sheep, goats, and cattle.
• Clear and correct -- no artificial ear tags, no pseudo-individual animals. The pig notification follows the official logic.

Herdy Is Now Available in Four Languages

The entire app and the whole website are now available in German, French, Italian, and English.

• Fully translated -- every page, every form, every notification, not just the interface.
• Big news for Romandie and Ticino -- farms in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino can now work entirely in their own language.
• Switch any time -- the language can be changed in the settings without any data loss.

The website now has an About page. Who is behind Herdy, where the project comes from, and what it stands for -- transparent and in one place.

TVD and Quality Improvements

Several smaller but noticeable improvements around the TVD and daily work:

• Coat colour is sent to the TVD -- an animal's recorded colour now flows into the TVD notification.
• Who recorded this? -- every journal entry now shows which team member created it.
• Smarter notifications overview -- incomplete notifications are blocked before submission, and each notification's status is shown in more detail.
• Country-aware ear tags -- animals imported from abroad are handled correctly during ear-tag processing.
