Create an account

To use Herdy you need a free user account. Registration takes only a few minutes.

1. Open the Herdy website and click Get started.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Choose a password with at least 8 characters.
4. Click Register.

After registration you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in that email to activate your account.

Tip: Also check your spam folder if the confirmation email does not arrive within a few minutes.

Sign in

Once your account is activated, you can sign in at any time:

1. Open the Herdy website.
2. Click Sign in.
3. Enter your email address and password.
4. Click Sign in.

The first time you sign in, a short setup wizard guides you through the most important steps: complete your profile, name your farm, and -- if desired -- link your TVD credentials. You then land on your dashboard, the central overview of your herd.

Forgot your password?

If you ever forget your password, you can reset it easily:

1. Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Click Reset password.
4. You will receive an email with a reset link.
5. Follow the link and choose a new password.

Tip: Choose a password that is easy for you to remember but hard to guess. A combination of words, numbers, and special characters is ideal.

Set up a team

If multiple people on your farm should work with Herdy -- for example family members or employees -- you can create a team and invite others.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Members.
3. Invite additional people by email.

All team members have access to the same animals and data. This lets you divide the work while everyone stays up to date.
